My personal motto in life has been ” Live, Love, Laugh” for as long as I can remember. As cliché as this sounds, but life is too short to not live it to the fullest. There is so much going on in the world and in your own personal life to not live a life that’s filled with love and laughter. Do not allow the cards that life dealt you keep you broken, wounded, hurt, scorned, or playing the victim to your circumstances. We are supposed to live where we should eat, drink, and be merry.
My family and friends can attest that I am the “Turn Up Queen”. I love life. I love love. I love to laugh. No matter what I am facing in life I always find a reason to dance (literally) through the storm. Through it all I always find a reason to smile. I have had moments in life where I felt like things were falling a part, but I did not allow the situations to keep me from living, loving, and laughing. There is always a reason to live, love, and laugh.
Are you holding on to pain and hurt from your childhood? Are you holding on to resentment and unforgiveness from the hurts of your adult life? Are the situations that caused you pain and hurt causing you to be mean to people, bitter, and angry at the world? RELEASE IT ALL. These feelings are keeping you from experiencing life the way God intended it to be. Proverbs 17:22 states “A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones”. In other words, laughter is good for the soul and a broken spirit will suck the life out of you. You have the choice to live well, love often, and laugh much.
What are some things that make you happy? Who are the people that you love? What makes you laugh? Whoever it is and whatever comes to mind is what I encourage you to focus on when life gets hard. Practice these thoughts everyday. Enjoy your life. Travel the world. Experience new things. Surround yourself with people who can make you laugh until your stomach hurts. Keep a circle of people who encourage you to be the best version of yourself. Live your best life.
I can tell you from my own personal experiences that when you live a life that is filled with love and laughter you will be able find the good in life. When life gets hard you will learn to handle situations that come your way differently. I promise that when you let your guard down and live life as if no one is watching, you will view life with a new perspective. Live through the tough times, Love when life seems impossible, and Laugh at all you have experienced because you always will come out on the side of victory.
