Proverbs 16:23 NLT “From a wise mind comes wise speech, the words of the wise are persuasive”

Are you surrounded by people who make you feel as though you are different? Perhaps growing up, you were the outcast because you did things that weren’t popular amongst the crowd? It’s ok to be different. Align yourself with like-minded people who will view life as you, and you will continue to prosper on your journey.

After every Heart to Heart Instagram live show episode, throughout the week I post clips of the gems from my heart I shared with my viewers to encourage my followers on my social media pages. One day I posted, “Gem from my heart: We are being perfected through our mistakes, trials, and tribulations”, and minutes later a follower sent me a direct message. He said, “Been resonating with a lot of what you have been saying. All of what you have said had made me into the man I am. I have learned to utilize God more through prayer and my actions. I am the happiest I have been in a very long time. Keep doing your thing. I love it!!”. I responded, “WOW!! Thank you for sharing that! This just blessed me. I don’t know what to say, but I’m glad God has used me to impact your life and I know my work for God is not in vain”.

“The power of the word of God is truly just that powerful. It really enlightens you on the power of your words. And I was blown away that every time you would post a video I could relate to the words and how they have impacted me. You never know who you are helping”, he stated. I replied, “Facts!! And this is a constant reminder of how God is reaching people in a new way”. He said, “Word. I’ve always been different. I’ve been in church most of my life and always had a relationship with God. I always acknowledged who God is to me and does for me. It was weird to others that I would rather listen to gospel than anything else. It’s so great to see my peer not afraid to express in the same manner and still relate to others. Keep going!!”.

It’s important to surround yourself with like-minded people. Like-minded people will be able to speak to your spirit or have conversations that resonate with who you are. Like-minded people will impact your life and remind you it’s OK to be different. Like-minded people will assure you that you are not alone on the path that is outside the box.

When you are aligned with the right people..The same people will recognize that your individuality has value

  2. I just read 2 devotionals. Prayer Box & Like minded people. With Prayer Box I journal and thats where my prayers go and I find it help me to be steady with praying because I’ve tried praying at night on my knees as I was taught as a child. It doesn’t work for me I find writing to God work for me and I enjoy writing always have as a kid on up into my adulthood. Also the next devotion Like Minded People was great because that’s my prayer for Jesus to place women of God in my life. God Fearing Women I can learn from because I also want Him to place me in women lives whom He see that can learn about Christ from.
